Structual
The buildings that housed the department stores still exist in central Nottingham:
- Pearsons frontage on Angel Row was for several years a branch of Habitat but has remained empty since the store closed in 2011
- Tobys on Friar Lane is currently (2013) occupied by a bar called The Approach
- Joseph Burton in Exchange Buildings is currently (2013) occupied by the Tourist Information Office
- Jessops – store in the Victoria Centre and original shop still on King Street
- Griffin and Spalding – Now Debenhams on the corner of Long Row and Market Street
- Hopewells – Huntingdon Street. Former shops still exist on Parliament Street (now Nottingham Building Society) and Milton Street (now Burger King)
