Manvers of Thoresby and Holme Pierrepont

The University holds the Manvers Collection, a collection of estate papers of the Pierrepont family, Earls Manvers, of Thoresby Hall, Nottinghamshire, 1342-1989. The Portland (Welbeck) Collection contains the personal papers of the earlier Dukes of Newcastle upon Tyne within the Cavendish, Holles and Portland Literary sections.
The Newcastle (Clumber) Collection consists largely of the estate and personal papers of the Dukes of Newcastle under Lyne of Clumber Park for the 2nd to the 7th Dukes.
